1. About these terms

These terms apply to Invoice Maker ("Invoice Maker", "we", "us"): the Invoice Maker billing software for Windows, the Invoice Maker Android app, this website, and Invoice Maker Premium. By installing or using Invoice Maker, or buying Premium, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Purchases are also covered by Paddle's buyer terms. Purchases made inside the Android app are processed by Google Play under Google Play's terms.

3. Your licence to use Invoice Maker

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Invoice Maker to run your business. You may not:

• sell, rent, share or redistribute the software or your Premium access;
• copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
• get around licence checks or Premium limits;
• use it for anything illegal, including fraudulent invoices or records.

Invoice Maker, its name, logo and software belong to us. The invoices and records you create belong to you.

4. Free plan and Premium

The free plan has no time limit and includes billing, inventory, accounts, reports and printing on one PC. Invoices made on the free plan show a small "free version" badge.

Premium is a paid subscription. It adds Cloud Sync between your phone and PC, all invoice themes, and removes the badge. Premium bought on the phone or the PC works on both, when you sign in with the same account. Prices are shown on our pricing section. Your local price and any tax are shown at checkout.

5. Subscriptions, renewals and cancelling

• Premium renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly, every 6 months or yearly) and you're charged the price of that plan, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time with Manage Subscription in the desktop app, or the link in your Paddle receipt email. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
• If a payment fails, Premium may stop after a short grace period.
• If we change prices, we'll tell you before your next renewal. The new price applies from that renewal.

6. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment. See our Refund Policy for details.

7. Your data

Your business data is stored in an encrypted database on your own computer. You are responsible for keeping backups of it. If you turn on Cloud Sync, your data is also stored in your account so your other devices can reach it. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Accounts

You need an account only for Cloud Sync and Premium. Keep your sign-in details safe; you're responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse or breaking these terms.

9. Updates and availability

We improve Invoice Maker over time and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Cloud Sync running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.

10. Disclaimer and limit of liability

Invoice Maker is provided "as is". It helps you keep records, but you are responsible for checking your invoices, taxes and accounts, and for meeting the rules that apply to your business.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Invoice Maker after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. This does not take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
